Course Overview

Through this course we aim to offer students a flavour of life as a Doctor. There will be introduction to anatomy and physiology of human body. Sessions will be aimed to understand the cardiovascular, respiratory, excretory, gastrointestinal, and immunological advances in medicine. Sessions will be divided into seeing different medical cases and also discussing on diagnosis and treatment. We will divide sessions into understanding different disciplines and getting hands on (though virutally) on history taking and examination skills through different real life cases. Different resources will be shared which will be useful in your career path to studying medicine.


We also aim to discuss on the latest Covid-19 pandemic and discuss on different approaches.This course is aimed for students who are keen to start their career in the field of medicine. Anyone who wishes to be a Doctor is welcome to enrol. We aim to create holistic Doctors with good medical knowledge as well as empathetic towards patients treating them biologically and mentally.

Meghna Dharod

Dr. Meg Dharod has PhD in Medicine with a specialty in diabetic diseases and has been teaching and practicing for more than 11 years. As a clinically qualified physician Dr. Dharod has many years experience seeing patients as well as providing diagnosis and treatment .
