Course Overview

This course provides students a series of experiences designed to understand and apply the foundations of marketing. Topics include managing customer relationships, marketing environment, managing marketing information, consumer markets & behavior, promotions, and SWOT analysis. Students will discover the sciences behind marketing, how companies effectively sell their products to the right customers, create effective surveys, learn about the promotions mix and more. Students will finish the course utilizing this knowledge to create an impactful promotional presentation.

Dan Landesman

Daniel Landesman has worked over 20 years in the private sector across the athletics, insurance, and software industries. In addition to working at two start-ups, Daniel earned his MBA in 2011, and started teaching high school business classes in February of 2016. He has taught, and teaches: Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, Introduction to Business, Accounting, and Sport Management. 2020 marks his second summer with Summerfuel.
